My website is about environmental awareness. We humans have come very far, we've made cameras, computers, movies, TVs, Appliances, personal appliances, plastic, and most of all, machines. Yes, but with all these nice and helpful things comes a price. the environment is also greatly effected by all of these things, but not in a good way, there is more to it than we think.

What can you do to help the environment?

Check out some of these simple tips below:

1) when you go to the grocery store, bring your own bags. this helps because it cuts down on the amount of paper or plastic bags you bring home and just throw away for every plastic bag not used you are probably saving an animal

2) you can cut down your electric bill just by helping the environment! you could wash your laundry in the cold water instead of the hot, line dry your linens, and use a toaster oven for small heating needs instead of a bigger electric stove. Open windows to let the light in, turn off unneeded lights and appliances, and unplug unused electronics so you don't waste energy you aren't using

3) With your car you can cut down your gas bill and help the environment, did you know that with every gallon of gasoline you burn, you produce 19 pounds of Carbon dioxide? well its true, so it pays to conserve. you don't need to have unnecessary blasts of speed, you can just keep it at the speed limit. if its a nice day out, you have time, and you're going to town, just walk!

4) you should shop at your local farmers market. why does this help the environment? Because then the farmers who grow the food won't have to sell off their land for development

5) Drink water from the tap, instead of buying single-use bottled water, which requires much more energy to produce, store and transport. Barely 20% of those plastic bottles end up getting recycled, and most are made out of petroleum. Use filters if you are concerned about your local water supply.

Soon buy a reusable bottle to take with you on the go, so you can always refill it from a tap and avoid buying bottled water. Stainless steel is a good choice, because you don't have to worry about the potentially toxic chemicals that can come out of many plastics over time.
